English Language Training
It is common to see capable teachers struggle to teach or handle classes in English. To help teachers feel as comfortable with the English language as they are with the subjects they teach, we created the English Language Training Workshop*. We customise this workshop completely based on the needs of the institution, and provide sessions on vocabulary, grammar, and spoken English among others.
At the end of the training, teachers will have developed skills such as:
- Reading speed, efficiency, and comprehension
- Speaking fluency
- Correct usage of vocabulary and grammar
- Confident and articulate communication
Duration: 40 hours of training over 6 months
*This workshop meets CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) standards.
Classroom Management Workshop
Fun and engaging classrooms = Happier and smarter children. The Classroom Management Workshop helps teachers build a supportive environment for students to learn, think, and question.
At the end of the workshop, teachers will be able to:
- Create a positive learning atmosphere
- Manage classrooms by establishing rules and logical consequences
- Deal with difficult behaviour in class
- Motivate even reluctant students to engage and grow
Duration: 4 hours
Multiple Intelligence Workshop
Some children love math, others may love art. Some are great on the playing field, others can work wonders with a rubik's cube. Some thrive in group environments while others do their best work alone. The Multiple Intelligence Theory helps educators teach all kinds of kids in the best way that would benefit them.
At the end of the workshop, teachers will be able to:
- Understand the different types of intelligence they encounter in their students
- Recognise, appreciate, and foster different strengths and weaknesses
- Design curricula that caters to different types of students
- Apply simple and meaningful activities to engage children, no matter their type of intelligence
Duration: 4 sessions carried out over 2 days
21st Century Teaching Workshop
Technology can be a teacher's best friend. In our 21st Century Teaching Workshop, we help teachers become comfortable with digital tools, pedagogies, and content to integrate and leverage them in their classrooms for promoting better learning.
During this workshop, teachers will learn about:
- Realistic ways to use technology for teaching
- The concept of a Flipped Classroom and how to successfully execute it
- Popular online collaborative platforms
- Using technology to improve their students' 4Cs (creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration)
Duration: 2 sessions conducted over one day
