In our relentless pursuit in empowering women and providing them with the tools to build a better future, SMF recently conducted a highly anticipated webinar for the tenth batch of UPASANA with the prospective candidates. This webinar marked a crucial milestone in the recruitment process, serving as a platform to inspire and guide passionate women about what is to be expected and how they can realise their aspirations. The webinar garnered an overwhelming response, reinforcing our belief in the transformative potential of UPASANA.
Setting the Tone for Aspiration and Growth:
The webinar, held on 23rd June 2023, was a momentous occasion where graduate women aspiring to become after-school educators gathered to embark on a life-changing journey. It was designed to set the tone for what the candidates could expect from the UPASANA program and the commitment required to turn their aspirations into reality. Ms. Seethalakshmi, a beacon of inspiration herself, passionately conveyed the vision of UPASANA and the immense opportunities that lay ahead for these courageous women.

The webinar served as a crucial step in identifying individuals who possess the drive, passion, and determination to make a difference in their lives and the lives of the primary school children in their communities. It provided a comprehensive overview of the UPASANA program, highlighting the 6-month journey and what lies thereafter. The candidates gained insights into the program's curriculum, methodologies used, and the practical skills they would acquire through classroom sessions and on the job training (OJT).

With the successful completion of the webinar, the candidates will now undergo an assessment process. This evaluation will play a pivotal role in selecting individuals for the upcoming batch of the UPASANA after school educators' training program for primary school children.
